About Me

I trained to read screenplays at the Script Factory in London and have a BA (Hons) degree in English with Psychology.

I've written three short screenplays (that's not my entire body of work, but I've only written three shorts - I find short forms of fiction really hard), two of which qualified to the 2nd round of the Kaos British Short Screenplay Competition in 2005 ("The Scarf") and 2007 ("Playing Death in the Woods"), while the third (Johnny & Maya's Third Date") got to the 1st round in 2009. "Playing Death in the Woods" is currently optioned for production in 2010.

Details of these and my other projects can be found on my Shooting People profile.

I'm currently working on a steampunk novel and a TV pilot, while writing the odd comic book script for D C Thomson.

I currently teach English as a Foreign Language, so I can offer exceptional proofreading for your documents.

I also love stop-motion animation, puppets and masks (hence the mask image on the home page which doesn't really fit with the rest of the colour scheme!). And yes, I made this website myself.
